Any opinions on garlic supplements as a benefit for hair? Searching on the Internet, it seems some people believe garlic helps with shedding but nothing proven.

Garlic would likely help cure fungus-induced dandruff, and keep any bacterial growth at bay. I have only heard about rubbing garlic on the scalp means rub with some garlic the toast and put the rest on the head. Did you read about garlic capsules helping?

Garlic has lots of health benefits. Growing hair is not one of them. "Don't be afraid to see what you see. "

The NOW FOODS one I have talks about Scordinin in garlic, which is apparently a unique sulfur compound. Isn't sulfur the main reason why MSM works for faster hair growth?

No comment on MSM but sulfur itself doesn't help hair loss otherwise a lot of things that contain sulfur would help. "Don't be afraid to see what you see. "

Interesting - I always thought it was the sulfur component in MSM that most attributed to getting some faster hair growth.

MSM may very well help one's existing hair to grow, but this doesn't mean that it will stop hair loss.

Sulpher definitely doesn't help fight hair loss. I eat tons of onions and a good amount of garlic - they definitely don't prevent hair loss "Don't be afraid to see what you see. "
