I would have to look it up for sure, but if I recall it's about 2-3 months after the last dose for the drug to be out of your system. It might be a little less but as I recall it was recommended that you wait 2-3 months before you donate blood, so that timeframe seems likely. I'll check on that later and varify it when I have more time.

Sonny, excellent question!!! Hope that you're able to get over the residual effects soon. Do you have plans for trying another proven treatment soon? Or you at a standstill at this point?

Ok, according to the Red Cross you have to wait 4 weeks before you can donate blood, by then it seems most of the drug will have left your system. I would say give it 5 weeks to be sure and if you are still having side effects at the end of that time then you should go see your doctor. I hope things work out.

Hi Samson: At the time I use Xandrox 5% from Dr. Lee and Nizoral 3x a week. With the Xandrox I both have a growth stimulant and a DHT inhibitor. But I only use it on the crown area where I'm thinning... Have used it for about 2 weeks now.I think it is the best thing if u don't take Propecia. What do U think ????

Anyway i have been off Propecia for some weeks now and my sexual sides have gone.My erections are back and as powerful as ever but my libido is still not back to normal yet. When you dont get morning erections - a sure sign that you have a problem and it's not mental.Thank god they are back after all this time and you know everything is working how it should. To anyone who finds this is happening to them dont stress because everything will come back to normal in time, and i mean it takes time anything up to 2 months. When everything is 100% i am going to take a very small amout 2 times a week and see how i go.

Hey guys i have read about it can even take from 3months to 6months and yes it will stuff with your head and you feel up and down as you come off the drug. The main thig that i found is you can feel very run down and have no energy but be ready for it.The libido takes long time to come back to 100%.The best thing for myself was to know that downstairs is working how it should and that it had not done any long term damage. The things we do to keep our hair how sad.

Sonny, I'd say that it sounds like Propecia didn't work for you but I wouldn't say that it isn't for everybody. Though honestly I couldn't stomach the idea of losing my virility, I guess that it's a matter of what's important enough to me.
