rotate Nizoral w/Head and Shoulders, but Revita EVERYDAY????

sorry for so many posts....don't mean to monopolize. When I have questions, I have questions....what can I do?

I'm just curious, I was always told to alternate Nizoral w/Head and Shoulders or some other shampoo and NOT to use it everyday. But Revita, which also contains Ketoconzale, says to use it at least 5 days/weeks (pretty much everyday). So which is it?

dont use revita. no one should be shampoo-ing their hair every day, or even 5 days a week.

honestly, don't use it. use nizarol maybe twice a week, and something else once a week.

shampooing every day, will dry your scalp out in no time flat, plus none of the natural oils will be allowed to rejuvinate in your scalp.

really???? Oh shit!!!!

But the Spectral DNC and Xandrox buildup is so heavy that I kind of HAVE to shampoo. Otherwise my hair looks and feels like freakin straw.

cello,

I think you'll get differing advice from many of the forum members.

This is just my opinion:

I think that if you have eat a good/clean diet, then you can probably do well washing your hair every other day (or 3 days a week, as Allen suggested).

Note: I don't use any topicals, like Spectral DNC or Xandrox, so I'm not sure how to comment on those.

To be honest with you, my diet and lifestyle isn't so great these days. Perhaps because of this, I find that I need to shampoo on a daily basis.

The shampoos that I use don't seem to dry my scalp out. Currently, I'm using the Green Tea Shampoo by Aubrey Organics and the Tea Tree Shampoo by Giovanni. I alternate between the two of them. One day the Aubrey Organics, the next day the Giovanni shampoo.

For the record I was using Revita as instructed 5 times a week and I had a massive (and I mean massive) shed that almost brought me to tears when I looked at myself in the mirror.

I've cut it down to 1 or 2 times a week now and I'm using the Giovanni Tea Tree Oil shampoo and Nioxin cleanser and scalp therapy on the other days.

Using revita as instructed destroyed my hair and made my hair fall out. Some have told me that this might be a good shed caused by revita working, but i'm not trusting that since I've been on it 2 months and I've seen no improvement.

I have used Revita every day for 2 1/2 months, and it hasn't dried out my scalp or hair at all, and I haven't noticed any shed either. I've had some regrowth, but I use other stuff, too. Just my experience.

I wash my hair 2 times a DAY.

In the morning in wash my hair in the shower and I wash my face and head again at night.

What can I say this has stopped my hair loss and I have some regrowth.

I don't use minox based topicals or any keto based stuff, but do use a zinc pyrithione soap in the morning before I wash again with a seabuckthorn oil soap.

I wash with the sbt soap again at night and use tea tree oil on my thin spot at the back of my head.

I can't stand having greasy hair... I too wash my hair every day. I'd wash it twice a day if I had the time. But I use Revita maybe four times a week.

I believe cello's concern was not in regards to washing his hair everyday, but rather it pertained to using Revita on a daily basis.

My personal opinion-Using any shampoo daily is probably not the best thing for your scalp. At least try and skip a day.
