Nizoral - Everyday

Do you think it's a good idea to use Nizoral everyday?

though a good shampoo, you need to give it a try for 1 week and see if it makes your hair very dry/brittle..

many people (incl me) say 3-4 times is good...2 times (as prescribed) doesnt do that well..

read a few horror stories on using Niz everyday. Major sheds. I personally use it twice a week in conjunction with a conditioner as scalp cleanser more than anything. In my opinion, using it everyday is crazy. It really dries out the hair and scalp.

I've found 3 is best. Monday Wednesday and Friday is an easy way to do it.

I use it every day without any problems, although I am probably over doing it. I don't usually use it full strength tho, I usually mix it 50/50 with either T-Gel or Nioxin. I'll substitute with Revivogen sometimes, also mixed with either T-Gel or Nioxin etc. I'm using Lee's 2% Ket. btw, not the traditional 2% Nizoral. It has 3% salicylic acid with some other additives which I think helps to reduce some of the dryness you usually get with the regular Nizoral.

Matt...

I've been considering getting Dr. Lee's Regrowth Shampoo. Have you noticed a cosmetic thickening from it at all?
