I can't answer that -I don't remember what it was like coming off Propecia- but Hatchet was right about the bioskincare, brh1219... it does totally wipe out itching and make your scalp feel great. I hate plugging a $50-a-container product without us knowing if it even helps hairloss, but if that problem keeps up, try it if you have the $$$.

brh1219 I was in your same situation. I dropped propecia 2 weeks ago and within 3 days of dropping I had the worst itch all over my scalp. Nizoral seemed to help and applying super zix helped out tremendously. I still have some scalp itch but its not as bad as before. Im curious as to why you dropeed prop...and how long were you taking it before you decided to drop it?

I had taken it since feb so about 3 months shy of a year...i dropped it because my hairline seemed to be receding more agressively on propecia however it did come to a point where it seemed to be less. I also just wanted to get off of it and go the natural route and not mess with my hormones. I cant remember how my scalp itch was before prop but i cant remember it being this bad. Its mainly at the crown. I also think my crown got thicker while on prop but it could be all in my head. Since off prop my libido is back to normal and it i almost forgot how it was. I think you lose some sexual emotions while on prop...i feel more confident with myself now i dunno its wierd. I boughtan organic shampoo that i use at night and i rotate niz, activeM, and seabuckthorn at night. It seems to help the inflammation. alright im ranting...Legend what are your thoughts?

Hi All. I just want to add that I was on Propecia for 3 months about 5 YEARS ago - within a week of comming off - my whole scalp started to itch like hell. It itches the most at the crown but itches all over my scalp. As a result my thick hair is thinnning where ever it itches. 5 years on and it still itches - I have tried so many things but nothing has stopped the itch permanently. I have suffered like crazy for 5 full years trying to stop the painful itch caused by propecia - if any of you guys have any suggestions I would love to hear them, Thanks RS ITCHY
