Of course, everyone's experience is a bit different... but, I used generic minox for years and I certain that it slowed the loss. Like most people I wasn't satisfied, so I switched to Spectral.DNC. 3 months later I moved into Norwood IV territory. I didn't want to reorder Spectral.DNC after that.

I've started using emu oil (twice a day), revivogen shampoo and conditioner and nizoral. I don't think emu oil by itself will be sufficient though... Spectral didn't work for me and I hope others may get off it if they are in a similar situation to me.

Min Agent is a liposomal minox formula that goes on like a cream. If anything, I think it moisturizes one's scalp. However, I find it not to dry greasy at all. For me it has cosmetic value, which is critical in most of my choices. It also has delivered the benefits of minoxidil better than other formula I have tried thus far. It's sold at folica.com, which offers a satisfaction guarantee. I'm pretty sure it can be tried with little financial risk.

One other thing about Min Agent: if you try it, apply it while your scalp and hair are well-damp. Otherwise, it will stick to your hair, barely make it to your scalp, and have no value.

I have lost a lot of hair while using Spectral.DNC its not funny. I came across a pic of myself from a year and a half ago and I have lost so much hair. I think minoxidil may have a negative effect for me. No positives from minoxidil at all, so why keep using it?

They always talk about the positive of minoxidil in research i.e. hair improved or stayed the same. I haven't read of any categories for people whose hair got worse. Although read these forums and you get the understanding that your taking a risk between shedding and regrowth.
