Piroctone Olamine INSTEAD of nizoral or ALONG WITH nizoral...or not at all? I'm running out of my nizoral 2% and am wondering the following:If I use a shampoo with piroctone olamine, would that have to replace Nizoral or could I use both? I so hate to mess with my regimen because i'm doing well, but I guess it's like wealthy people....they all have one thing in common, they always want MORE MONEY!! Anyway, I found the following shampoos with PO, plus there's T-gel. http://www.hairgrowth.co.uk/preventative_shampoo.php http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=49894&catid=49627&trx=GFI-0-SRCHRN&trxp1=49627&trxp2=49894&trxp3=1&trxp4=1&btrx=BUY-GFI-0-SRCHRN I don't know, maybe I should just stick to nizoral? I just keep thinking of that study saying PO increased hair count and diameter better than nizoral. For the record, I'm also going to try Active-M at the suggestion of xvcq.

I alternate both EOD. I went for the Body Shop's ginger anti dandruff shampoo since it has ginger and honey as well as PO. It seems to dry my scalp out as much as nizoral. I don't see a problem with using both.

It's a tough decision. If you're having success i'd try not to mess with it too much, except for adding Activ-M of course. :) Of all the things i've tried so far Activ-M seems like it's the most promising.

Yeah, I'm really excited about it too. I keep checking my mail everyday hoping it will come. For some reason, I could only get it from Germany.

Tao, what evidence do you have that Active-M, or Alpecin for that matter is a scam? By scam are you implying that they do not contain the ingredients they say they contain, or just that you think those ingredients don't work? Don't just make blanket statements here, I hate that.... SHOW ME EVIDENCE

I'm pretty new to this forum so excuse this question. What does Piractone Olamine do for hair loss? I just received my first order of Spectral DNC and PO is one of the ingredients and DS Labs recommends Revita(which contains keto) as the shampoo to go with DNC(yes I know they are both made by DS Labs) so I guess the combo might not be bad. Comment if you know this not to be true.

I recently stopped Revita since it contains caffeine. Recent discussions on here have led me to the conclusion that minoxidil works antagonistically with caffeine. I do think I've had improved results since stopping caffeine. As for PO: http://www.regrowth.com/hairloss-forums/viewthread.cfm?f=1&t=19221

Don't forget about the Body Shop's Anti-dandruff Ginger shampoo: http://www.thebodyshop.com/bodyshop/browse/product_detail.jsp;jsessionid=1ICMCgDLXh6KoZ48PxmyZg**.bsprd-app-101-bssfolapp04?productId=prod6270015 It's got tons of great reviews online and has PO listed pretty high up on the ingredients list. It's pretty cheap too at just $9.50. I order a bottle the other day but haven't received it yet. I'm kicking caffeine and Keto aside for when I start the Flutagel. Man I wish this place had a classifieds section. I'm gonna have like 2 full tubes of Nizoral cream, a full bottle of Nizoral mousse, 9/10's of a bottle of Alepcin and 1.5 bottles of Dr. Lee's 2% keto shampoo and a full bottle of Revita that I will have absolutely no use for :( Oh, for the guy that's waiting for his ACTIV-M shampoo, I just got mine on Monday. I also ordered on eBay and it took almost 3 fulls weeks for delivery.

So caffeine interferes with minox, keto messes with flutamide, and zinc screws up minox as well? LOL How do we know if PO won't interfere with the flutagel??? I think I will just use baby shampoo :P
