Re: Should I Start or Not Start Propecia again? paranoid said: Heres my story. I'm 22 and started thinning a bit over a year ago. In mid april of last year I started taking propecia alone and stopped in early december. During that time I don't know if I had any growth. I probably stayed the same. It is now over 5 months later and my hair looks the same as when I stopped and almost the same as before I started propecia all together. I have had a very slow receeding hairline for a few years now and that was one of the reasons I started propecia. My question is should I give it another shot? I had no sexual side effects or gyno. I have a bunch of white hair on one side of the back of my head but I started getting that much before propecia. Will propecia give me more white hair? Is it worth starting? I just want to combat my receeding hairline and get it lower as well as thicken up my hair a bit. I have just purchased nizoral 2% and Active-M shampoo. I want to know if I should add propecia and or something else? Help me out guys?

paranoid, i think you should give propecia a try, some people do experience side effects, but a lot of people do not. If you experience side effects you can always stop taking it and it will be out of your system in a matter of days. Good luck

I have been on both, generic and name brand. Personally I did not notice a difference.
