Nature's Natural Minoxidil. Here is a product called Nutritional Scalp Forumula. from safe4people.com I have bought a bottle of this stuff. When applied, I notice within about a minute my scalp turns red wherever applied. This seems like an excellent product for increasing blood flow. I spoke with the owner and he said he use to own a clinic in Cleveland for 23 years. He has a strong customer base from when he ran that clinic. Many of his clients have used this one product for years and a lot of them say according to him that they get better results than minoxidil. He sounds like a reasonable honest man. He does 0 advertising and seems he enjoys helping people. It seems sometimes you might find something good from a small time place rather than mainstream. This has been his hair growth product for years. He sells shampoo, conditioners, and the sebum enzyme scalp cleanser, but this has always been his main. Also, his site has added EMU oil (“Our Follicle Awakening Formula contains “Oxygenated” molecules which transport nutrients directly to the cells in your scalp” and “Our Essential EMU Oil will be absorbed into hair or scalp, without rubbing, in 5 to 10 minutes . If oily residue remains, use less next time.”) Also he added the Herbal Re-growth formula as well, this is the same oils used in the Scotland Study. Here are the ingredients for his Nutritional Scalp Formula. The only thing I don’t like is the methylparaben. If any of you know of a natural or a better alternative to change his product with please let me know. I would like to call him up again and chime him some more info. I really feel he is all about formula changes too. He did it once where he added emu oil to the nutrional scalp formula itself, but his customers got mad and wanted the older original one back. Ingredients: Water, Isolpropanol, Nicatinamide, Urea, Treen 60, Panthenol, Glutamic Acid, Leucine, Thiamine, Arginine, Proline, Vitamins C-B1-E-and Biotin, Serine, Lysine, Alanine, Aspartic Acid, Magnesium Chloride, Zinc Chloride, Aspargine, Tyrosine, Cystenine, Phenylaline, Isoleucine, Glutamine, Theoronine, Tryrophan, Benzalkonium Chloride, Methylparaben, Fragrance, F, D, & C, Blue #1

I'd like it better if the paraben stayed and the Isopropanol(I'm assuming that's how it's actually spelled) taken out. Isn't it also TWeen 60..not TReen? And Asparagine? Ha..just having fun with ya. The F,D, & C Blue #1 is another that isn't needed, imo.

Asparagine represents aspartic acid. An yes, I guess it is tween 60. I just wrote what was on the label.
I guess Isopropanol and FDC Blue should be the ones that go. What is isopropanol used for any way. They put it in there for something. Maybe absorbtion? I don't even know what tween 60 is really. I know these are classified as chemicals. It says all natural on the label

Interesting. Even I had to use Tween 20 in my topical that's getting formulated, and I'm trying to keep it as natural as possible.

Tween is just Polysorbate..the # behind it, I'm guessing, is the concentration/percentage?? Isopropanol is more of a solvent than anything..it seems. Think alcohol. Don't get so freaked out about these "chemicals". I've learned some of these are better than an all natural product that can go bad quickly. The less the better of course.

Polyethylene glycol is another name for Polysorbate, it seems. The # behind Tween may not be the %..but the kind of(other chems added, I guess) Poly. "Tween 60—polyoxyethylene sorbitan monostearate, a powerful tumor promoter for mouse skin" http://jdr.iadrjournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/41/2/476

I noticed Caregen does use Phenoxyethanol 0.2% as a preservative in Prohairin...so preservatives are already in their encapsulated ingreds.
