Ketoconazole and Nizoral.. Without the SHAMPOO

Hi Guys,

I hate Nizoral shampoo. It leaves my hair dry and shit.

Is there a topical Ketoconazole cream/lotion that can be applied like Minox daily?

I have discovered the cream is available in local chemists in Australia. Has anyone tried applying overnight each day?

I believe this is what was done in the japanese Keto study!

I know yeah, I was thinking about doing it ages ago but never got round to it. I can imagine its better then most topicals. I mean at least it has about 4 human studies showing it stimulates growth and it’s a good anti-androgenic.

Actually, I think in that study the men applied the cream to their scalps while in the shower, left in, and then washed out. I used it overnight for 3 months, and.........nothing. I feel the Niz 2% shampoo is a MUCH better product than the 1% sold in the States. It doesn't seem to have much in the way of fragrances, which may contribute to scalp irritation/dryness.
