1. Lasers work. The testimonials on here are enough for me. Plus I appear to no longer be losing hair and have a scalp that is increasingly healthier (less inflamed and itchy) by the day. And I have only been using my device for 5 1/2 weeks. I caught things early. I believe that with healthy scalp conditions my hair will regrow. 2. Propecia may (and I stress the word may) help some people but at what cost? Even if you aren't experiencing noticeable side effects you can't convince me that messing around with your hormone balance is healthy. Especially for guys getting on it in their 20s. I think it is actually quite dangerous, despite what Merck and the FDA say.

Propecia worked great for me... for about 3 1/2 to 4 years and then bam! MPB came back with a vengeance. I added rogaine, tried everything (I mean everything) on the market, including avodart, and it didn't stop my aggressive loss. Got on lasers and it finally stopped it. Now I'm just bidding my time hoping I'll get some substantial regrowth from all this new vellous hair.

At which stage did you catch it Jpmarko? Did you maintain or get regrowth?
