Lowered Finasteride due to Sides, Started RU58841, Sexual Sides Update Hey Guys,Lowered my Propecia dose from 0.5 mg to 0.25MG daily and at the same time started RU58841. Its been about 2 months now and had a contiued light shed the whole time. I think 2 things are happening. 1. Slowing loosing groud due to lowering FIN to 0.25MG and RU58841 is doing nothing. 2. RU58841 is working and causing the weak hairs to shed. What do you guys think? Also FYI. Been on Finasteride for 4+ years. In November lowered my FIN to 0.5MG and started lasering. No change to hair or sexual sides. Lowered dose again to 0.25MG (Feb09) and from not having a morning wood for months am having a couple per week :-) My Attack Fin 0.25MG per day Lasermax 134 diode 3x a week Min 5% with Fin 0.01% AM Min 5% with RU58841 PM Cheers

I was on finasteride for yers, yes it works but when I went off it my libido never really got back to what it was!

brendanJ... How long have you been off fin? ive read alot of people that have been on fin for 4 years + that it has taken them around a year to get there libido back to normal

I was on finasteride for about 4-5 years... It completely stopped my hair loss... But yeah my sex drive isn't what it used to be. I've actually thought about joining a forum on libido problems also lol

go here man... http://www.propeciahelp.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=22 it has stories of recovery which may help you. Have you tried anything to help your libido? and in what percentages do you think you have improved?

Thanks Cue, I was on a herb for a while that helped a little but that's about it. I have improved about 20 percent but that's really not ideal. have you ever been on finasteride?

im on it now but slowly weening off. My libido is pretty bad. Its gonna be a long road gettin it back but im ready to begin. I plan on focusing on making my fortune while im young so yea i guess ya gotta make what ya can from it

I have been on fin on and off for over a year and a half. I haven't had any sides and I masterbate 2-3 times a day. My libido is insane.
