I see a lot of people who are not using/trying to sell their laser helmets, some after just a few months of use.

I am curious why after investing hundreds (some over a thousand) you are getting rid of it??  Please post your reason -- no comments from people who haven't bought them are necessary.  Doesn't matter where you got it.

I pretty much jumped to fast on the laser bandwagon and that salesmen made it seem like it was the holy grail to hair loss. Which it's not. I can honestly say I only gave it like 3 months of strict lasering but nonetheless I had no patience going through the routine 3 times a week.

I purchased mine last may and it worked great only for a couple of months. All of a sudden my hair became flat and lifeless...what a waste of money.

Wow that's a lot of money not to even give it 6 months.  I know what you mean tho chargers about how some pitch it as the holy grail.

This is typical with any good treatment. The next new thing comes along, everyone jumps on it then a year or two later there is a back lash from some of the users. I know of many credible people that have and continue to claim benefit from lasers. Is it a miracle cure?....NO! There are no miracle cures! But it has helped a lot of people.

How many people have tried propecia, monixidil and avodart and then abandoned it because it didn't help?

MPB is extremely difficult to treat effectively.

I agree with you Zix.  It just surprises me to see people giving up without even giving it 6-12 months, which is the amount of time you need to give anything a fair shot if you're going to try it.

I think if the LLLT fanatics would have pointed out that it takes 12 months for the holy grail to really work...it'd be didfferent. It's like A&G the company made goofy claims with- (most) ppl expected such results then.

Everything takes about a year to really work Jacob   The LLLT guys were very overzealous, but I don't think they were claiming in 3 or 4 months it was going to grow you a head of hair back either

Oh..it was close to that. The best thing out there..etc..it gets ppl's hopes up. Reminds me of Ecklonia cava- similar claims were made.

Then we learn(as I was arguing) that more isn't really better...then claying should be done...then P-80..etc.

Don't get me wrong..if I had the money I'd get a decent device that I'd actually use(I never got a laser comb because I knew I wouldn't be consistent with it. To read that those with the helmets have the same problem...!) ...and I'd use it as directed. I'd obviously keep using the topicals I use and keep looking for others to try- something else those guys really need to stress. A simple zinc topical that has been used in one variation or another since the Waseda days..isn't going to cut it. Forget about whether or not it can be sold...
