I started using FNS on May 8 and been using it religiously at night ever since. However, everytime I apply it I notice some strands of hair on my hands. I think the reason may be that I'm rubbing it into my scalp too rough and I know it's normal to shed about 150 hairs a day. Is it because I started a new regimen or will i loose hair that rogaine specifically grew for me? Also, I started using rogaine in the morning and FNS solely at night. Do you think using the rogaine in the morning effects the chemistry of FNS to make it less effective? Scalp wise, I notice the front looks a bit better however the crown looks the same if not a bit worse. However, I can't be too sure because once anyone starts a new treatment, they expect these quick results and I guess I'm not left behind the door with that. Also, I notice my hair gets stiff when applying FNS. I try to rub it in well so as to get as much on my scalp, but it still gets on my hairs. Does anyone else get that and is there a more effective way of getting it to the scalp before the strands of hair interfere? Thanks.

Re: FNS Observations and Rogaine I have the same concerns you do. I have been using the FNS for about 2 weeks - in the morning about 8 pumps to cover vertex and temples. The hair is still coming out in my hands when S put the FNS in. Also, I had been using Rogaine 5% twice a day. Osmotics said not to use FNS and Rogaine at the same time so I have cut the Rogaine down to the evening with FNS in the morning. My worry is that unless there is a Big positive effect from the FNS, the loss of 1 dose of Rogaine will offset it and I will keep losing hair. Does anybody know more about the effective use of both Rogaine and FNS??? I also find the FNS makes my hair stiff and dry looking, but I would put up with that if it Works!Member12529 said: I started using FNS on May 8 and been using it religiously at night ever since. Re: FNS Observations and Rogaine i use fns with a speedo swimming cap to keep it from drying out. I figure if i sleep with it on at night, and take it off sometime a few hours later, i am letting it absorb more. i do beleive regrowth has occurred since may 1. i use nothing else.

Re: FNS Observations and Rogaine I have used 1 bottle so far and found that I lost a bit of hair in the first 3 weeks or so but then it stopped and I have had definite reduction in loss and 'moderate' regrowth. By 'moderate' I mean a few (less than 100) hairs, so it is not a miracle cure for me so far. The FNS website shows good regrowth after 22 weeks, so I will try a second bottle and post then.
